Description

Dear Student;

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Savannah College of Art and Design. The office of counseling and student support services invites all students with a diagnosed disability or chronic medical condition and their parent or guardian to attend Jump Start, a special expanded orientation in Savannah, before the general SCAD orientation begins.

Jump Start is designed to increase awareness of the services and resources available to students with disabilities, ease the transition to college and provide strategies for success at SCAD.

To attend, complete the registration form, submit payment and email your ID photo and medical documentation to disability@scad.edu. We will send a confirmation email providing further instructions.

Attendance at the general orientation or Summer Swarm session is also highly recommended, since these sessions contain vital information not included in Jump Start.
